Well, we did it, and it was fun, and this is just a note to say thank you so much to all the old friends, new friends, work friends, school friends, porch friends, friends-of-friends, parents and friends-to-be who came down to so graciously support us and not even heckle once. It was quite overwhelming seeing so many familiar faces and silhouettes of heads in the crowd, and even hearing their voices between songs (I'm sure I picked out a Theo laugh). Walking through the pub afterwards with people I knew everywhere was great - I talked to so many people and shook so many hands I felt like a politician on the campaign trail. This afternoon I listened to a minidisc recording of the first song from the gig and that picked up my spirits a bit, because when it comes to my own performance, I tend to see the glass as half full of vomit, but yeah, over the noise of the crowd I think it came out alright. Hopefully we'll be able to get that, and maybe a couple of other tracks from the practice studio up on the site. 'Til then, thank you to you all, and to all a good night. Oh, and HAPPY 21st LIZ!!
