hey matty, if you get a chance, check out the ads for The Witches of Eastwick on Channel 10 (they might be on other channels as well, I dunno....) - recognise that group of girls outside the theatre??

So much to say so little time..
Was on radio today with my Italian class, discussing the topic of guys in their flashy cars who cruise along Chapel St on a Friday night, playing doof-doof music (Chapel St etc, etc...). A topic I'm eminently unqualified to talk about, having knowingly been to Chapel street about twice in my life. I think the Ascot Vale version is Mt Alexander Road in front of Jimmy Rowes, which is slightly less glamorous. The woman from SBS radio was pretty cool, I thought the recording would be this really laborious process, but she just came into the class with a mini disc and a mike and launched straight into recording us. I guess my standards have been lowered by seeing the style of the average uni lecturer in using technology ("Now I'm supposed to be recording this, so I'll just have to..oh..oh dear, does anyone know how to work these things?..")
On a slightly more relevant note, it's great to hear the site is taking the AustralianMusic people by storm (and I don't think that's putting it too strongly). I'd also like to put it on record that I have been trying valiantly to vote in the polls on the main page (does a band vote on its own web poll? Answer, of COURSE they do!!), but my computer won't let me. I'm sure everyone can testify that no one wants to point out the girliness of Jon more than I.
Hey I just realised I went from bagging people's ineffectualness with technology to admitting that i don't know how to work my own computer. Oh well I can live with that.
