I'm writing this from Scott's study, trying to work out how to alert him to my presence without seeming rude and/or giving him a heart attack. I usually try to do the polite thing and ring before I turn up, but well, sometimes I just can't be bothered. Going to Pearl Jam tonight - YAY! Have been on a PJ binge for the last few days gearing up for it, now I think I'm ready. Also listening to Jack Johnson (John Jackson? not sure which) - a really groovy, mellow guitarist/singer whose CD has been brought to my attention by a friend from interstate. He has played a bit with Ben Harper, apparently, and is definitely in that mould, so if you're into the one you should check out the other.
Hey, important warning - if you're in the habit of leaving comments on other sites and linking back to GOOD MORNING, beware!! Ben H is watching your every move. That's the only explanation I can think of for how he seems to have tracked down things I have said. Luckily, I wasn't engaged in my secret plans for the downfall of Western civilization at the time. The powers of the webmaster are beyond mortal ken.
News just in, it's Jack Johnson, and the album is Brushfire Fairytales. Jon Jackson is something else entirely, he's a countertenor (Latin for "man with a bloody high voice"), and is interesting also if only for the gawp value. OK, now I'm going to go set up a guitar and blast Scott into consciousness.
